As a SharePoint Developer, you will work with a Project Manager and team of Designers, Implementers, NAV Developers and Trainers in designing and developing ERP (NAV) integrated and stand-alone applications. The SharePoint Developer serves as the technical SharePoint expert for the team and provides gap and stand alone programming to extend system functionality to meet client’s specific requirements.
Specifically, in the capacity of SharePoint Developer, you will;
1. Design, develop and implement sites and applications in intranet, internet, and extranet MOSS environments
2. Serve as the lead technical SharePoint expert on the implementation team
3. Take responsibility for the customized unit programming and overall system functionality
4. Work with the Implementer to understand the business / application requirements of the assigned task
5. Test all development work before returning it to the Implementer
6. Delegate and supervise Junior Development assignments and deliverables
7. Take responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed upon time budgets and timelines
8. Delivering code customizations with proper documentation
9. Tracking your hours worked by assignment on a daily basis
10. Support end users during Go Live
Travel required up to 30% to client sites in western states (primarily Northern and Southern California) to periodically meet with clients for design sessions, milestone updates, training, DB conversion and go live.
Qualifications:
• Must have an understanding of physical and logical server architectures for SharePoint
• Experience in developing and maintaining an enterprise-level internet and intranet site
• Demonstrated effective solution development capabilities
• Demonstrated high degree of initiative and self guided work management
• Must be willing to work diligently to meet deliverable deadlines
• Must be able to demonstrate strong desire to develop new technical knowledge and professional skills on a continual basis
• Minimum 3 years of corporate development experience with ASP, ASP.NET, C, C#, C++, Java or similar languages
• Strong working knowledge of T-SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server and Oracle
• Strong working knowledge of DHTML, CSS, AJAX, XML
• Knowledge of IIS administration or workflow technologies a plus
• Experience installing, configuring and customizing Microsoft CRM
