As a Dynamics NAV Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing implementations with new and existing clients. In addition, you will work with a team and supervise the product development and implementation. The central responsibility is to ensure quality projects are delivered on time and in budget. Ideal candidate must be very familiar with Navision, have excellent communication skills, and be approachable to the client.
Specifically, in the capacity of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) Project Manager, you will;
1. Serve as the primary client contact on all matters pertaining to the details of the implementation
2. Provide clients and SCS management with timely reporting of project status
3. Create and maintain project plan using MS Project
4. Schedule and manage resources through Design, DB setup, Development, Testing, Training, User Acceptance, Data conversion, and Go Live tasks (to budget)
5. Work with the client to identify and address risks that arise during the implementation
6. Coordinate and obtain sign-off of write-ups of out of scope Work
7. Provide project administration in compliance with SCS policy
8. Obtain client sign off for acceptance of delivered database
Travel required up to 30% to client sites in western states (primarily Northern and Southern California) to periodically meet with clients for design sessions, milestone updates, training, DB conversion and go live. |
Qualifications:
• BS Business Administration, Computer Science, related degrees. Post graduate degree, CPA, PMP certifications a plus
• 5 years financial management experience with mid-size companies, or
• 5 years experience managing / implementing ERP systems in mid-size client environment, or
• 5 years engagement management experience with business management consulting firms
• Proficient in using MS Project, Excel
• Excellent (verbal & written) communication skills
