Navision Implementer

As a Dynamics NAV Implementer, you will work with a Project Manager and team of Designers, Developers and Trainers in gaining an understanding of the client’s business requirements and the customizing a NAV database to meet their needs. The Implementer serves as the domain expert for the team and works to setup and configure the database and many of its outputs.

Specifically, in the capacity of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) Implementer, you will;

1. Gain an understanding of the client’s process flows and communicate these requirements to the developers undertaking customization tasks
2. Set up and configure client databases
3. Lead the client through decisions regarding the COA, dimensions setup
4. Work with client in data conversion matters, test imports
5. Test all completed tasks returned by the developers, be able to demo/document functionality to client
6. Train client super / end-users on Intro to NAV and system customizations
7. Coordinate with client on final data conversions
8. Support end users during Go Live

Travel required up to 30% to client sites in western states (primarily Northern and Southern California) to periodically meet with clients for design sessions, milestone updates, training, DB conversion and go live.

Qualifications:

• BS Business Administration, Computer Science, related degrees. Post graduate degree, CPA, PMP certifications a plus
• 3 years financial management experience with mid-size companies, or
• 3 years experience at the controller level in a mid-size client environment, or
• 3 years accounting / financial experience working in the manufacturing, distribution, technology, or non-profit sectors
• 3 years using NAV a plus
• Proficient in using MS Project, Excel
• Excellent (verbal & written) communication skills
