SCS Attends Microsoft Inner Circle Retreat in Laguna

Ideas Exchanged As Inner Circle Members Meet in Laguna Beach   

The Montage Resort and Spa in Laguna Beach, California, was the venue for Microsoft’s Inner Circle Retreat this year. SCS was named to Microsoft’s Inner Circle for 2004, a group comprised of the top 1% of all Microsoft Business Solutions Partners worldwide.

“This group represents the best of the best,” commented Doug Burgum, Microsoft Corporation Senior VP and head of the Microsoft Business Solutions Group.

SCS attendees, President Helen Russell and Director of Marketing and Public Relations Audrey Schmedes, had the opportunity to engage with senior Microsoft Business Solutions Executives to hear about company and product strategy, as well as to participate in discussions with partners from around the world that provided feedback to Microsoft on the marketplace and our customers.

“It is inspiring to see how in touch and in tune Microsoft is at the Senior Exec level,” stated Audrey Schmedes. “They were genuinely interested in and concerned with our businesses and those of our customers,” she added.
 

Microsoft executives look forward to this retreat each year, a gathering of their “brain trust” of partners to help provide continued direction and vision to Microsoft’s plans for the future. It is one of the ways they stay on top of customer needs, which has made them the technology powerhouse that they are today.
